Official Tribute to Cedrick Cotton & Family

It is with deep sadness and utter disbelief that we share that Cedrick Cotton passed away on the morning of February 9, 2021 due to senseless violence in Southwest Houston. This unexpected attack has devastated Cedrick’s family, friends, and support system.
Cedrick (known as Ced) was a loving father, good brother, and awesome friend. Those who knew Ced remember him as an incredibly special and solid person who was a true, loyal friend to everyone he met. He had a heart the size of his beloved state of Texas, which he repped Third Ward, TX to the fullest. Whether it’s a connection from Parker Elementary, Johnston Middle School, or Lamar High School, Ced was well known in the city. But it’s his involvement in the R&B Group, Ideal that many recognize and know him.
This memorial fund seeks to support his loved ones with any funeral costs and other expenses that may arise. The fund’s intention is to help alleviate the financial hardship that becomes present when arranging a funeral.
