Carla Jean Lee
2/28/1962 - 3/24/2021
Carla was a light in the life of so many. She was the fierce and incredible mother to Tabria, and loving partner of over 26 years to Doug. She was woman who would go to the end of this earth to help you with anything you needed - she'd show up for you anytime you called, ready to help and support the ones she loved. She loved music and dancing, and was known to start dancing in the middle of the grocery store if she heard her favorite song come over the speakers. She was a voracious reader, and you would always find at least 2 paperbacks in her purse, just in case she got bored with one and wanted to read something else. Carla was always telling someone random fact she'd discovered, and loved learning history. Carla was a strong woman, and over the last 20 years battled numerous health issues with the strength and perseverance that only a Lee woman could have.
We are raising funds to help with expenses related to her final arrangements and funeral costs. Any remaining funds will be to assist her family, and help her partner Doug with relocation costs as he will have to leave the home they've shared for the last 11 years.
She leaves behind her daughter, Tabria, her partner of over 26 years years, Doug, her father James, her siblings Linda and James, her niece Danisha and nephew Isaiah, and an uncountable number of friends and family She is preceded by her mother Anne, her niece Jade, and her sister-in-law, Marci.
