Paying Tribute to Bruno Farrell

It is with heavy heart that I write of the passing of Bruno Farrell after his long battle with kidney disease. He is survived by his beloved wife Vetricia, his children, grandchildren, sisters, nieces and nephews.

I had the honor and pleasure of working with Bruno for over 13 years. As Overlook’s Security Supervisor, his friendly warm smile was the first to greet tenants and visitors. He was much loved by the many people who stopped to chat with him. People were drawn to him in a way that I’ve never seen before. They trusted him, confided in him, and sought his sympathetic ear. He had a special gift for knowing everyone by name and making you feel special. With Bruno at the helm, I never had to worry because he was always watching out for everyone. He was a comforting presence for me and for so many, many others.

With Bruno’s passing, we lost a bright shining light in this world. Bruno was a kind and gentle soul with the biggest heart. He will be deeply missed by all those who had the good fortune to know him.

Many have reached out to express how much Bruno meant to them and to ask how they could help. We can show our support to Bruno's family by helping them cover the cost of funeral services, medical expenses and time off work as the family deals with this loss.
