On February 17, Bill Carter experienced a sudden Cardiac episode.
He was unable to be resuscitated and passed in the home. He had no prior health issues, and the shock that followed is where we need your help and support.
A sudden death can be devastating to a family in these times. The costs, the planning ahead and the idea of a future where working is a necessity , is a compounded stress for Susie that can use relief, so she can begin to put back the pieces of her life.
Susie and Bill have been in the same home for 27 years. They have only had each other there, and three beloved dogs thru the years. The home is in need of work and repair, and her staying there is paramount to her recovery thru this time.
I have never seen a couple so devoted, so loving and kind and playful. Everyday together for 46 years. An entire life built on mutual respect, care and even running a business together, Evergreen Sales. As Susie moves forward she will need to take on jobs Bill did. The home, the business and the day to day will shift, in this case, with no warning or planning.
The funeral expenses are immediate. We have been able to get him home and look forward to a celebration of Life for this incredibly generous, kind and gentle soul. There are no words for how he will be missed, and with each day a new challenge for Susie to face. Please help me support her, letting her know she is not alone.
I am her niece, Lisa Hawks. I have been able to cover half the expenses temporarily, but there is more. Moving ahead, id like to be able to give Susie, with your generosity in spirit and action, some peace and safety.
With much gratitude,
Lisa Hawks
