Paying Tribute To Benny Sedillo

Loving son, loyal brother, proud father, and gentle husband.  These are just a few words that describe Benny Sedillo.  He was called so many things by so many people.  I was lucky enough to call him my brother-in-law, but he was so much more to us than just that.

The void created by the sudden death of someone as beloved as Benny is still hard to grasp.  He was someone we took for granted would be around for much longer.  I can still hear his laugh and see his smile.

Benny's sudden passing on Sunday, August 30th, devastated his family.  My sister (April Sedillo) was left with the responsibility of organizing and dealing with the expenses of his funeral, while trying to comfort their two sons who just lost their daddy...while still trying to deal with her own grief.  Benny had just changed employers, so he did not have a life insurance policy. 

The high cost of funeral services is a huge point of stress for families.  All donations will go to the cost she will incur for his funeral expenses and anything raised beyond that will be to provide her with financial assistance , as she will now be trying to navigate life as single mother to two boys.

We know that these are difficult times, so anything spared would be greatly appreciated. **Due to COVID, his funeral service is restricted to family only. The facility is only allowing a maximum of 50 people to attend.
