Paying Tribute to Alice Ybanez

Our Beloved mother Alice passed away on November 21, 2021 which was also her birthday.

Alice was a beautiful woman both inside and out. She enjoyed life to the fullest and loved creating memories with her family. She was 69 years old, retired and enjoyed trips with her sisters, get togethers with her children and visits from her grandchildren. Nothing made her happier than time with her grandkids.

Unfortunately, My mother was hit with covid and hit hard. For her age she didn’t have any major health issues so it’s devastating that Covid took her life.

Children are never ready to lose a parent but we realized as my mom was fighting for her life that we needed to prepare since she hadn’t made any end of life plans.

We paid a down payment on a plot and have tried to financially prepare in case our mother passed and today we find ourselves a little short on the funds needed to lay my mom to rest.

We have had many ask to help which has been hard for us to say “yes” as we feel like it should be our responsibility to take care of our mother.

We decided to create this fundraiser as a tribute to Alice as we know many loved her and have asked to help. It would also support her family with funeral expenses.

We are so thankful for the many that want to help lighten our load as dealing with the overwhelming sadness of losing our mother on top of the financial burden is much to bear.
