Our brother, James D'Ottavio was rushed to the emergency room on 9/3/20 and was placed on life support. A few days later we were told that he wasn't getting any better and that the machines were keeping him alive. We all had to make the hardest decision to take him off life support. We know that Jimmy wouldn't want to live that way. He was not the Jimmy we all loved and cared for.  
Unfortunately, Jimmy did not have medical/life insurance nor a savings to pay for medical or funeral expenses. We are asking for help to offset the financial burden to the family and ensure that Jimmy has the proper funeral to honor his life. 

A little about our brother;

Jimmy would do anything for anyone but most importantly his family. Family came first! He loved everyone for who they were no matter what. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He was devoted to his girlfriend Alicia of 13 years. He was kind hearted and generous. He loved to cook! And was great at it. He had a green thumb and would always talk about what was growing in his garden. He was a roofer for many years and loved what he did. He was a hard worker and when he wasnt able to work anymore it broke him.
