Hi my name is Sydney Freeman. I have spent 7 years battling the disease Endometriosis with little support from my gynecologists and primary care physician. This past year my symptoms became debilitatingly worse. I was in the Emergency Room once a month dealing with dehydration, extreme pain, and vomiting due to the illness. I slowly lost the ability to walk and use the bathroom, and eventually could not keep my job. I was without insurance, financial support, and was bedridden for the majority of the year. In order to finally improve my quality of life, I received a laparoscopic abdominal surgery in April and then a hysterectomy this past December. I am still in the process of physically and emotionally recovering from my most recent surgery. Nevertheless, the medical bills I have accumulated with and without insurance jeopardize my ability to finally to support myself after such a traumatic experience. Please help me begin to pay off some of my medical debt as I continue to heal.
