Hey everyone,
I’m raising money to cover expenses associated with the very abrupt and unexpected passing of Keith Hughett on March 16, 2024
I came to know Keith through the automotive industry. Through recruiting efforts at my dealership, Keith was looking to join us and continue his career as an Automotive Technician.

After some conversation, we scheduled a time to meet and tour the store as well as the Huntsville, AL area. On March 15, 2024, I met Keith and his wife Sherri at the hotel. We chatted for a bit, discussed some nearby restaurants, and set our time to meet the following morning.
That next morning, it started like any other for Keith and Sherri. They went to breakfast, stopped by Starbucks, and even went to see a house they had their eyes set on. At 9:53 am, I received a call from Keith’s phone only to hear the most devastating news from his wife Sherri. “Keith just had a heart attack here at the hotel, they are in the ambulance with him.”
I rushed down to the hospital and waited anxiously to get clearance to go back and sit with Sherri. As I walked into the room, there sat Sherri completely falling apart as she said, “I don’t know if they told you but he died!”

Married on July 14, 2021, but together since 2013, Keith and Sherri were excited about a new chapter in life. Finding a company that truly values the talents he possessed as an Automotive Technician was something so important to Keith. Through the years, Keith amassed a number of certifications as well as being recognized as a Ford Master Technician. His skills and knowledge in the industry are very desirable. He certainly brought a lot to the table!
Sherri is a teacher 20 years and getting very close to retirement. Huntsville, AL was on their radar of growing old together and writing the rest of their story.

As we all know, medical expenses can get out of hand quickly. Sadly, Keith did not have medical insurance and we know that even the shortest trip to the ER can cost thousands! Please help me help Sherri through this incredibly difficult and uncharted time in her life.
Keith leaves behind his wife Sherri and he has 4 children.
May God bless Sherri and give her strength in the days and years to come.
