Paying for school, Cannot Work due to COVID 19

Donation protected

I am Bossan Abdyyeva, international student at Northwest College, Powell, Wyoming. I am doing this fundraising because I cannot pay for my school due to covid-19 and my working plans has changed. I am not able to work off campus and I cannot work on campus due to the pandemic. School lets me work couple hours a week on campus however, it is not enough to pay for my school. I owe $1,000 to my school and I will not be able to transfer if I don't pay it soon, May 9th (since I need to send my official transcripts to my transfer school very soon).

I am a successful student at Northwest College:
My GPA is 3.9
I recently won All-Wyoming Academic Team Award
I was nominated for Wyoming Association of Community College Trustees 2019-2020 leadership award
I am Student Body President at Northwest College (first international student who held this position at Northwest College)
I am Phi Theta Kappa Chapter President at Northwest College
I am 2019 Coca-Cola Leaders of Promise Scholar
I am graduating Northwest College with International Studies and Spanish major this May (first person who got higher education in my family)

Here is a short story of mine:

I am from a little village in Turkmenistan where people think that the best thing for women is to be a tailor, raise kids and please husbands. I grew up in a surrounding where men/boys were worth more. My mother used to make my brother’s favorite meals and I had to wash dishes because I was a “girl.” At an early age, I decided to become an Ambassador because I knew that wasn’t acceptable for women to be in politics and even to study – that made my dream even grow stronger. I was lucky to have a father who supported my dream. He said I could be one of the best Ambassadors, however, at early age my father died. And since my family did not support my education (asking me to quit my studies so I could do house chores), I started secretly learning English. I was attending Mary American Corner (a center where English books were available for free) I taught myself English. My teen years were very challenging, trying to learn a new language, and get as much as I can from my high school, waking up early and doing all house chores. One of my usual days seemed – one day one of my cousins saw me talking to a guy who is not my family or husband (classmate) and me wearing “short pants” as he phrased it (capri jeans) and reported to my mother how shameful I was acting in a public place. My mother threw away my all jeans, forced me to quit sports – gymnastics and volleyball. It was horrible to not be able to do whatever I was interested in. I was almost married to a person who I did not know (arranged marriage) if I wasn’t lucky to win a scholarship at Prep4Success (program that prepares Turkmen students to a higher education in the USA) and come to Northwest College to study. I am not telling this story to show how my life was challenging however, I wanted to show you why I am here and want to become an Ambassador because I want to change women's rights in my country=)

I am proud that I could financially fund my school until now without monetary help from my family however, covid-19 changed my all plans.

I am asking you if you could help in this challenging moment of my life, so I could be able to graduate and transfer!
