Hi Facebook family and friends!

As most of you know I recently found out I was diagnosed with a BRCA1 mutated gene. For those of you that are not familiar with this Gene, it is a rare mutated gene that is hereditary and only 4% of of people have it. Unfortunately my biological birth mother had this gene and passed away from cancer at 40. With technology today we are able to test for this gene and hopefully catch it before it’s too late. After finding out my diagnosis, my world has been like a non stop roller coaster of events and emotions. I recently had a bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction process as well as removing cancerous fibroids from my uterus. Unfortunately my body did not take very well to the medication and the reconstruction process. I had a severe infection and was back in the hospital for some time. Meanwhile I’m unable to work and the medical bills are piling up. I still have a few more surgeries to go before we can say that I am in the clear and relax. I’m just asking all my family and friends if they could possibly help me get to my goal and get the next surgeries started. I know it’s horrible timing because of the holidays. Anything helps and everything is welcomed. Those that really know me, know that I would never ask for a handout or anything for free. Unfortunately I’m in a position where I really need everyone’s help to get me the surgeries necessary so I can live a strong healthy long life. Thank you guys for your support!!
