Hello family and friends. It has finally happened, one of us tested positive this morning (Jan. 7) for covid-19. Things have been tight for us most of this pandemic and just as I started working in an LTC, it was beginning to look like we were going to get ahead of our bills and get back on our feet. Now I'm not sure when we will both be back to work. Carl has been off since Tuesday (Jan. 4) due to a close contact from work testing positive. Now that Carl is positive I cannot return to work for at least 7 days, that's if I don't test positive or have symptoms, this isolation period may last longer though. This isolation period comes when I was scheduled to work most this week and next week. I'm not sure how we are going to manage rent this month or the increased cost of needing to order our groceries this week.
