Pay Vet Biils for Amputation of Chicko's Leg

Donation protected
Hi, our names are Neoni, Kodi (my Son ) and our dogs Ned and Chicko.

There's just the 4 of us, our goldfish and Californian snails that have just had babies.

Anyway yesterday we were told by vet, Chicko, our miniature fox terrier needs his leg amputated tomorrow morning. He was born with a deformity in his front right leg, and cartlidge growth on front right shoulder that looks like a flipper.

He was going to be euthanased as he wasn't able to walk, but slowly with patience and putting him on grass to run, he came good, gained strength and wow! What a personality. He brings much love to
our home.

Sadly due to my Cancer and being on a Disability pension and a single mumma, the vet bills will place enormous financial pressure on me.

I've never had to ask for help and it's hard, but this time I do need help, not forcme For Chicko.

My medical bills, son's soccer registration,, microchipping and vaccinations and a $1000 excess fo Mr an accident recently have hit hard. I do need to try and get support

I'm good at writing this kind of stuff, but if you can spare a few $ it would help trendously and when my financial situation improves, I'll give it back.

Thanks for reading. We're just desperate to save our little guy ✌️

My son and I loved him so much we begged to save him, and 2 months later my Cousin arranged transport from QLD to Queanbeyan, NSW.

Initially the Vet said we'd leave leg as is, given his sixe and age, rather than prematurek amputate, then stated he had concerns as it could possibly get caught, given the angle of leg & flipper, which has continued to grow. So much a decision was made to amputate once he was fully grown.
However, we are not sure what has aggravated or caused further injury, but On Tuesdat night he was in hallway and wouldn't move. I picked him up to assess if something was wrong and he squealed and was in alot of pain itvseems he has had his leg caught or landed the wrong wat when jumping off the bed.?

As a result we had an emergency appointment yesterday (for Both dogs
as Ned is extremely constipated for reasons unknown. They're both on medication, And it's sad to see them go from being so happy and relaxed to accept they're both unwell.

I'm not good at asking for help, and my Aunty suggested a 'GoFundMe' page, so, that's why I'm doing this.
.Thanks for taking the time to read.

✌️❤️

Surgery is booken for 8:30am to amputate abd assessment of Ned too. He may need an enema or surgery.
.
Chickos' surgery will be a minimum of $1000k then there's medication and follow-up appointments, which I will struggle to attend due to my financial situation, followed by a cervical laminectomy, plus ive recently beeb aI lost my Job of 25 years due to hospital error, during Covid

. grew some more

We are so

Initially, the vet thought we'd waitvnot amputate, given he's was onle9nth old, then said he believed Amputation would be in his best interests
