We were never expecting for such an event to occur nor expecting to be at a funeral during this holiday. A dear friend/cousin and a father of three suddenly past away yesterday morning, 24 December 2017.
Brian, a Philippines Citizen, came to Italy to work at a vineyard about 11 years ago and have recently brought his 3 kids to Italy. The family was supposed to spend there first Christmas together after 11 years of being away from each other. Around 0500 hours, Brian suddenly collapse in the bathroom at his residence in Udine, Italy. His kids tried to call for help; however, by the time help arrives, Brian is no longer with us. Officials announce cardiac arrest as the cause of his untimely death.
The family would like to bring the body back to Makati, Philippines, where his body will be laid to rest. However, the estimated cost is about €4000 for the tickets, authorizations, and casket (excluding the kids’ tickets back to the Philippines, which could range up to €1600 per person). His kids do not have any job and are struggling to obtain the money needed for the funeral cost and tickets. Requesting for your heart-warming donation towards Brian’s family.
