Inward Bound takes place on stolen Indigenous land. We want to give runners, volunteers and spectators the opportunity to acknowledge this by 'paying the rent'. By donating, you are helping support a bright future for First Nations children and families.

We're raising money to benefit Children's Ground, and any donation will help make an impact. Children's Ground is creating change in First Nations communities, where children experience disadvantage at disproportionate levels. As a community-led organisation, Children's Ground is building on the strength and culture of people and creating genuine, long term opportunity.

We were inspired by the original Pay The Rent initiative (https://paytherent.net.au). Pay The Rent encourages all Australians to donate 1% of their income as a first step towards acknowledging that we work and live on stolen land, and to honour the Sovereignty of Aboriginal people.

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands on which we run and work, the Ngunnnawal and Ngambri People, and pay our respects to Indigenous Elders past and present. Sovereignty has never been ceded. This always was and always will be, Aboriginal land.
