Pay Teddy's Vet Bills

This is Teddy. She's a previously-healthy, four-year-old French bulldog. On the evening of 2/27, she was crying, panting, and having difficulty walking. Upon bringing her to the vet, she was put on oxygen, as her temperature was 106 and her breathing was labored. She was brought to a veterinary hospital in an ambulance, as she required oxygen. They found that she had a slipped disk in her back and was in immense pain, so three sections of her back were operated on yesterday, 2/28. Currently, she's recovering in the pet hospital and is very likely to make a full recovery. The issue right now is that, despite having pet insurance, the total for her initial examination, the ambulance ride, an MRI, the surgery, and the hospital stay is $15,000 and rising. The hospital is providing very little assistance with these charges and this is simply not something we can afford right now, on top of my college tuition and my own upcoming surgery, but there was no way we were going to skip this low-risk surgery to prevent further pain and complications. Teddy is a young dog and is expected to have a long and healthy life following this surgery. She is so loving and loved by many. If you've ever met her and been given even a little joy, or you're just a dog lover, I would be immensely grateful for little as $5 to help my family out.
