Hi, I'm Ian I'm 51 and worked hard all my life. Due to no fault of my own, I lost my job on 18th December (YEP just before Christmas), and due to the time of year jobs are and have been sparce. Things have picked up recently but still nothing on the horizon for me, despite applying for jobs daily and putting myself out there.

It's now got the the stage where I cannot afford my RENT, car repayment, utility bills and am using the job seeker payment to put food on the table for myself and more importantly my kids!

I need some help - hence why I've created this... I'm not usually one to ask for help, I'm usually the one who keeps quiet - tries to battle through and ends up helping others whilst internally I break down. I can't break down at the moment! My kids need me and I need to find a job!

Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated. To quote a famous movie... help me Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope
