Help pay off Scott Burleigh's medical bills

On January 29, 2023, my father-in-law Scott, died from bladder cancer at the far-too-young age of 55. By the time he was diagnosed in the Fall of 2022, it was too late for any treatment that would have made a major difference in the progression of the disease.
Throughout the entirety of Scott’s short, fierce battle with cancer, he never displayed bitterness, anger, or regret for the circumstances he was in. He made peace with his situation and wanted everyone to know that he was at peace. Scott knew that it was important to respond to suffering well so that he might demonstrate to the world around him that Christ is more glorious and precious to him than any pain or difficulty that would come his way. Scott knew where his true treasure was, and he made sure that God received all of the glory.
Scott is now at eternal peace with his creator, suffering no more, reunited with his mom Barb, and his grandchildren Ezekiel and Malachi. He is survived by his wife Emily of 35 years, children Trista and Beau-Michael and their spouses Sam and Amanda. Grandchildren Eleanor, Charlotte, Judah and Maxwell, dad Michael, step-mom Shirley, and step-dad Jerry, sister Andrea, step-sisters Jackie and Stacey, along with numerous relatives, and dear friends.
The goal of this fundraiser is to help reduce some of the burdens of medical bills from the numerous medical visits early in his cancer diagnosis, along with the cost of in-home hospice care and prescriptions, and to help set Emily up for financial stability as she enters her next stage of life.
