MIkel May's Employee Relief Payroll Fund

Hello, my name is May Mendoza Nardone. I am the Owner of Mikel May's Beachside Bar & Grill located on Bob Hall Pier in North Padre Island in Corpus Christi, TX. On Saturday, July 25, 2020, Hurricane Hanna which started as a Tropical Depression coming into the Gulf of Mexico, quickly turned into a Tropical Storm and then a Category 1 Hurricane within a couple of days. Hurricane Hanna caused extensive damage to Bob Hall Pier, where our Restaurant is located. Due to the extensive damage and part of the end of the Pier collapsing, the Pier has to go through extensive Inspections with Structural Engineers to make sure that the Pier is Sound and safe for the public.
This forces our Restaurant to be shut down for a minimum of a month until the report comes out and then longer for repairs to be done. We are probably looking at a minimum of 2 months before we can open. Though Nueces County, the owners of Bob Hall Pier, are doing everything they can to get inspections and repairs done, they have no answers on a time table.
My biggest concern since this Disaster has happened, has been my faithful Employees. We have been hit hard in July with the Covid19 Pandemic. We had to shut down for 10 days on July 5th, to prevent the Spread of the Virus and do a complete Disinfection of our Restaurant. With Covid Closures & Restrictions it has caused a huge Financial Hardship on all of my Employees. Just as we were getting reopened again, Hurricane Hanna came to town! We did get our PPP Loan, that helped us get through the 1st couple of months of the Shutdown, but after our last Pay Period, we have used all of those funds.
I am humbly asking for your help. All Donations, will go towards paying for Payroll for my Employees. The amount requested will pay Payroll Costs for 2 months. We have had Hundreds of Supporters from all over the Country asking how they can help us during this difficult situation. This would be the best thing I could ask for to help us out.
