Chemotherapy treatment for Teacher Marta

My name is Marta Irene Castaneda Robelo AKA La Teacher Marta and I’m fundraising for my chemotherapy.

God has given me one more challenge in my life after my open heart surgery and I know that with your help and with God's I will emerge victorious.

Since April 2023 I have been bleeding with blood clots and daily extreme pain in my abdominal and back area, I went to the emergency room and stayed there for 11 days, the doctors after MRI, CT Scans, ultrasounds, Colonoscopy and biopsies they diagnosed me with rectal cancer and malignant recto vaginal fistula and prescribe me 2 types of morphine to help me with the daily pain and 3 different pills to control the nauseas and vomiting. As you may know the treatment for cancer it's very expensive and extensive.

At the hospital the oncologist started the treatment with 2 types of chemo, Paclitaxel and Carboplatin, but in order for me to continue the chemotarapy treatment I need to give a deposit of $17,000, reason why we started this fundraising with my family.

I have dedicated my life to my daughters, grandkids and I’m praying God to be able to continue by their side and always be around my family that my career as a teacher has given me.

Mi nombre es Marta Irene Castaneda Robelo mas conocida cómo La Teacher Marta y estoy recaudando fondos para mi quimioterapia.

Dios me ha dado un desafío más en mi vida después de mi cirugía a corazón abierto y sé que con tu ayuda y con la de Dios saldré victoriosa.

Desde abril del 2023 tengo sangrado con coágulos de sangre y dolores extremos diarios en la zona abdominal y espalda, fui a urgencias y permanecí allí 11 días, los médicos después de resonancias magnéticas, tomografías, ecografías, colonoscopia y biopsias me diagnosticaron con cáncer de recto y fístula recto vaginal maligna, me recetaron 2 tipos de morfina para ayudarme con el dolor diario y 3 pastillas diferentes para controlar las náuseas y los vómitos. Como sabrás, el tratamiento para el cáncer es muy caro y extenso.

En el hospital, el oncólogo, inició el tratamiento con 2 tipos de quimioterapia, Paclitaxel y Carboplatino, pero para poder continuar con el tratamiento de quimiotarapia necesito dar un depósito de $17,000 razón por lo que iniciamos esta recaudación de fondos con mi familia.

He dedicado mi vida a mis hijas, nietos y le pido a Dios poder seguir a su lado y estar siempre cerca de mi familia que me ha brindado mi carrera como maestra.
