Hello,

My name is Breonna Randall, and I am in my final semester at Howard University. College has been a long journey for me, and I am close to starting the next chapter of my life. I have been in college since 2014, and after four hard-working years, I was able to transfer to my dream college in 2018. Since I moved from Los Angeles to DC, I have faced several delays, pushbacks, and obstacles from graduating. Initially, I was due to graduate from Howard in the spring of 2020, but things didn't work out that way. From my credits not being transferred, being unable to add certain classes when I wanted to, and the passing of my oldest sibling and my only brother, my goalpost feels like it's been moved further and further from me every time I think my race is almost done. But now, I am finally in arms reach of my goal of obtaining my Bachelor's in Journalism. Without my degree I won’t be able to pursue the jobs I want within the journalism field. I will be stuck in this limbo of having the education and qualification for every job but no diploma to prove it.

The last obstacle in my way is the balance I owe to Howard of $8,000. Since the passing of my brother, money has been very tight for my family and me. So with a humble heart I am asking for some help. Even if it’s $.50 I am beyond grateful for anything I receive.
