Pay medical bills and health insurance for Mike.

Hi, my husband Mike just had a liver transplant surgery on 6/26/2023. Let me give you some of his back story.
September 7th of 2022. Mike was at work for a safety meeting and suddenly got extremely light headed. One of his coworkers drove him home, while I came from my own work to take him to the hospital. At the Er they dismissed it as just dehydration and sent him back home. On September the 9th, 2022, Mike woke up to get ready for work very confused and not really responsive. Again I took him to the local ER. This time they checked more into what's going on and found that his liver had become non-alcoholic liver cirrhosis end stage. We were put in for an appointment with the Liver Transplant Center in Baltimore at that time. For the next month, Mike struggled at work with brain fog, confusion, and becoming sicker by the day. On 10/18/2022, we had his appointment with the transplant team. They said that he needed a transplant and we started the steps to have Mike added to the list. As of 10/25/2022, Mike's work had deemed Mike too sick to continue driving a Ready Mix Truck and had put him out on Short term disability. This cut our monthly income down to 1/3 of what we were use to bringing in. As Mike is the bread winner in our house we have made a lot of cuts to our budget to survive while we waited everything out. December 5, 2022 Mike was officially added to the transplant list for a liver. Then on 12/15/2022 he was backnin the hospital with his liver acting up. Gettting discharged only a few days before Christmas. Between Christmas and New Years we received our 1st possible liver call, Mike was runner up and didn't get it. At the end of January 2023 we received 4 more possible calls with us going to the transplant hospital once and being sent back home due to the livers weren't usable. Over the next few months we have applied for long term disability for Mike and we are working on SSDI. With long term disability we have taken a harder hit to our finances as we have to pay for health insurance out-of pocket. Knowing we have to keep a top of the line Gold plan for him as a transplant patient. It costs just about $600 a month for health insurance, that's not including what we have to put out in his liver medications monthly. So jumping foward to present day. Mike has just received a liver and while we are at the hospital, I'm not able to work my full amount of hours. Once, he is out of the hospital, he will have to come back in once a week for 3 to 6 months to check for any possible rejections of the liver. Then, it will be once a month for up to a year. I hate admitting we aren't able to cover medical expenses and health insurance, but at this time we are hurting a lot more then we expected to be. So we are asking for help with keeping health insurance and with some of the medical expenses that are adding up from his Liver Transplant. Thank you and lots of love
