A friend of mine and many of you in my friend circle on social media & in Traverse City, Kelly Roberts Curtis, is experiencing financial hardship and could really use some help.

I'm posting this without her knowledge, and she can't see it, because I think she'd probably be embarrassed, though she shouldn't be...

I don't want to get into too many specifics, but it's been one terrible thing after another, and now even her car has failed her - the engine needs to be rebuilt, and we all know how expensive THAT is.

I'm hoping we can get together and give her SOME help here, even if it's just some breathing room.

I know I've been in terribly dire straits on more than one occasion over the years and if it weren't for the kindness and generosity of others I don't know what I'd have done. Many of us have experienced that. So let's pay it forward, shall we?
