Help with funds for Scott's funeral my mums partner

Hi i am helping try an raise as much as possible for my mums partners funeral we was told by friends they would help pay it for him but unfortunately they cudnt an now my mum thinks it's all okay but it's not an we need to try an not stress her out as she has not long had heart operation her self scott has a young daughter he doted on worshipped her he was such a careering man helped everyone he could he passed away so unexpectedly an my mum an his daughter didn't even get too say goodbye please can anyone help at all any little will help an we appreciate any help you can thanks so much in advance please don't let my mum know about this as we don't want to tell her till we have the funds to keep her from any stress
