Hi, my name is Alisha. I am trying to fundraise £1,500 for my family to help pay for repairs and appliances for our house after being destroyed by water damage after our water tank bowed from heat and overflowed causing water to spread throughout the loft and eventually through the ceiling which ruined our carpet that was new 3 years ago, the oven which was newly bought 3 weeks ago, the air fryer and all the food in all 3 of our fridges (one which contained all my gluten free food - which is expensive too) as the amount of water that leaked ended up leaking onto the electric box which caused the power to shut off and therefore we lost all our food in our fridges and freezers.

We have currently been put up in a hotel until Monday morning (when we will then be homeless again) whilst we wait for someone to come out and assess if it is safe to then switch the electric back on so we could move back in (which would mean moving into a building site whilst they do the repairs)
