Hi, my name is Eduardo Marroquín, 28 y/o, father of two, a two year old girl and a 9 month old boy whom are the love of my life . Single household income.
On September 4th of 2023 a tumor of approximately 8-9 CM long was found in the lower section of my spine. This tumor slowly took away my ability to function and do normal day to day activities, couldn't get out of bed, stand up, or walk alone. After multiple appointments and diagnostics from 3 different neurosurgeons, I was urged to have surgery in my spine to have the tumor extracted.
When my second baby was born, Medi-CAL was taken away because I was making "too much money" even though I alone support my family. Therefore expenses will be coming out of pocket and I will also be using savings to pay. I'm not one to ever ask for help from anyone because I'm a strong believer that everyone works hard to earn their money.
Circumstances have changed, I will be using my own money to pay for medical expenses and any help is accepted and appreciated.
I do not do this for myself, but for the well being of my family and kids.
