Hi, I'm raising money for my cat Po's recent and unexpected visit to the Veterinary Hospital. Po's always been loved, taken care of, and living a healthy happy life. Recently he started to show abnormal behavior once he started peeing outside of his litterbox and showing signs of pain to the point I couldn't wait for his planned appointment and had to bring him to an available Veterinarian.

It didn't take long for the Doctor to see that his bladder was backed up to the point his bladder was the size of an orange. After testing, it was explained that stones in the bladder were making it difficult for Po to use the litter box causing blood in the pee and the toxin levels in his body to rise which could also lead to a heart attack. The nurses offered us time to think about what we wanted to do given how expensive this was all going to be, but there was no other choice in my mind. Po is only 3 years old with an amazing life ahead of him and I'd do anything to make sure he's okay.

After a weekend in the hospital, the Doctor was amazed by how much better these same levels were looking and that it was okay for Po to come home. They expressed how good of a patient he was and that it helped the healing process while admitted. We were sent home with medication and special cat food that Po will now have to eat for the rest of his life to make sure this doesn't happen again. Now that he's home and in the process of recovery, I'm hoping to raise the funds needed to pay off his total hospital bills of $2600 that include everything from everything done while at the hospital including blood tests, medication, and his new cat food. Making sure these bills are paid will allow me to continue caring for him with some unneeded stress off my shoulders as things get back to normal.

Update 01/26/23: Po was brought back to the Veterinary Hospital because he started to leak randomly and was having trouble pushing it out. The Doctor conducted a urinalysis and more to help figure out what bacteria is causing the infection in his bladder and once the results are back we can try new medicine to hopefully take care of the infection. Because of this I added another $400 to the goal. I appreciate everyone who has supported this fundraiser through donations and sharing. <3
