Hello, my name is Emmarae. Currently writing this I am 17 years old. Last May, I went across Canada with my class to a national musical theater competition and received a $5,000 scholarship to Vancouver Film School. I've loved singing since I was a baby. It's always been my passion. Since starting high school, I've gotten into musical theater and landed big roles in a few plays and it's given me the biggest push to keep working and learning. Late May, my dad passed and it has left my family to try to pick up the pieces and the whole situation is getting messy with lawyers and family feuds. In July I got accepted to Vancouver Film School officially. However, they need a $1,000 payment to hold my spot for September 2026. I'm at risk of losing my scholarship and spot and any help that anyone wishes to contribute to my future schooling would be greatly appreciated.
