Hey everybody! While this wasn't the route I wanted to go, I'm reaching out for some help paying the last leg of my Cyberknife radiation surgery. Due to already having it done last year, my insurance isn't covering it again. The surgery is about 5k - ideally the sooner I can get it done, the sooner I'll have relief from the pain.

Backstory: I haven't spoken about it a lot publicly. I was diagnosed 2 years ago with a chronic nerve disease on the right side of my head and face called Trigeminal Neuralgia. It's one of the most painful diseases you can have. With medication management and this surgery last October, I was able to get real quality of life back. I was able to start working again, most importantly. However, your nerves with this disease regenerate quickly and therefore surgeries have to be repeated. This surgery will use precise radiation to deaden the nerves - after a few months, I had a tremendous amount of relief but unfortunately i'm starting to get the painful flare ups again.
