Pay for Medical, Therapy, Car Expenses

This is every parents nightmare… when your child doesn’t come home and their phone doesn’t ring. You feel in your gut something just isn’t right, but you pray and pray they just walk through the door, return a text or answer the phone. But they don’t…

You worry endlessly, you can’t sleep until you know they are ok.

Then… you get a call from a nurse on the ICU, asking if you know your child, and your heart instantly drops.

The whole world stops in that moment.

As a mother and a nurse, a million things flood your mind.

You rush to see your baby laying in the hospital bed, unresponsive… all the things you wanted to say to him or not say to him echo in the silence that surrounds him.

The prayers you pray as you hold his hand, all the questions of what he will be able to do in the future come to mind.

I am Juliette Surratt, the mother of Quentin Carte. My first ask is, that you pray for him. The doctors already say it is a miracle for him to be alive and that God isn't done with him. So that gives me so much hope.

If you know Quentin, you have experienced his light…he’s a selfless, hilarious and loving young man.

He has had many challenges in life, but always picks himself up, dusts himself off and keeps pushing. I pray that with your prayers this will be another testimony for him.

I am asking for your help with any gifts or donations because his health insurance was just terminated due to his age, so he has no insurance at this time.

He will need intensive therapy after he leaves the hospital, so the funds raised will go to covering medical bills and therapy expenses. Quentin only had liability insurance on his 2019 Honda Accord, as he was trying to cut back on expenses before leaving for the Navy on May 1st. So any extra funds will be used to help repair the car if able.
