Pay for medical & legal for victim of DUI driver

Donation protected
My name is Hunter Hall and I’m starting this go fund me for my brother Noah Hall who was recently the victim of a drunk driving accident. He was hit by a drunk driver while driving to pick up his friend from work in Liberty Lake, WA. The drunk driver struck him on the passenger side of his vehicle which is where his son was sitting.

Because of the incident his car was totaled and both him and his infant child were taken to the ICU at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, WA. He was treated for 15/24 broken ribs, a laceration to both his liver and spleen, a broken C7 vertebrae, and a fractured scapula. His son suffered multiple fractures to his skull leading to a brain bleed and possible brain damage, 4 broken ribs, and a fractured C4 vertebrae.

We are asking friends, family and strangers to please help him in his time of need so that he can have a buffer for his legal and medical fees and possibly get him a new car with whatever is left.

Update:
I realized I forgot to include some base information:
The accident happened August third, and Noah and the baby (4 month old) were both taken to the ICU and PICU respectively. After the initial shock both were on the road to recovery and being scanned and treated for their respective injuries.

The doctors informed us that they were both going to be fine but that we won’t know the long term damage for the baby until he starts missing developmental milestones. Also, they said if he were any older he wouldn’t have the STEM cells needed to recover his neural connections quickly.

Noah spent half a week in the ICU and then was taken to the Orthopedic Center and my nephew was taken to the pediatric center a day or so later. After the first week of recovery Noah had to have a procedure because his liver was being pulled up through a break in his diaphragm. He then was sent back to recovery where he spent another week and was the taken to St Luke’s Rehabilitation Center. After a few days at St Luke’s he ended up having a bad coughing fit which ended up pulling his liver back up through his diaphragm again which ended him back at Sacred Heart. After a slight delay another procedure was underway to reposition his liver back to normal, and was again back on to recovery.

After another recovery period he was (finally) taken back to St Luke’s for the last of his Physical Therapy and rehabilitation. Where he spent about a week and then was finally released to recover from home last Friday Sep first. Which means we should be able to show a censored medical bill within the next month.

Meanwhile, an investigation is currently underway to determine what exactly happened in the crash and as a result Noah is not allowed access to the contents of his car because it’s all been taken in as evidence. That means he doesn't have his ID, Phone, Wallet, and other personal items as well. As such all deposits will be taken to my account and put into a savings account for him. This will be a temporary measure until we can get a temporary ID or find his passport (as were in the middle of moving him in with us).

Thank you to all our current donors and supporters and have a great Labor Day!

Update 2:
Noah’s first month of recovery is going well, he attended his first check up since the accident and they said they were surprised at his recovery speed. Additionally, he was able to go back to St Luke’s for physical therapy and saw positive progress. My nephew has started bottle feeding again and came off of his feeding tube and is getting fitted for headgear to help fix the shape of his skull.

We still haven’t been able to receive a medical bill sadly but as soon as we get one I’ll post the redacted version on the gofundme.

Thank you to all who share and donate it means a lot to all of our family!
