Hello everyone it’s me, David Wimbley. My hyper independence makes this difficult to write because it’s me admitting I can’t do everything on my own, but here goes….

My family and I moved into our new home in June of 2022 and during that time I was experiencing extreme back pain. I assumed it was a residual issue from a major car accident that I was involved in back in 2016. In August 2022 I was diagnosed with advanced stage metastatic prostate cancer. I was unable to work for almost 6 months while receiving treatment. I was able to go back to work in January after my PSA numbers seemed to be under control, however my numbers began to swing back in the wrong direction and I am now undergoing chemotherapy treatments.

Even with insurance, the medical bills are mounting. A two day hospital stay in September totaled just under $16000. Couple that with playing catch up on bills from being off from work on short term disability and possibly having to go back on short term disability now puts me in a position where I could use some assistance.
