Please help to get my brother Ben better and home.

Many of you have seen my FaceBook posts about my brother, Ben. He recently had a stroke and is currently in the hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. This is the first time I’ve seen Ben in over 20 years. He has spent most of his life homeless. I will be bringing him, and his sweet dog Didi, home

to Virginia with me as soon as he is cleared to travel. Ben is going to require a lot of special care and support. My heart is breaking to see my little brother like this. He wants to communicate so badly but the words aren’t coming out clearly. He wants to get out of bed and go to the restroom but his body is too weak to stand, let alone walk.

I can’t stand to leave him for the night let alone go home to Virginia for an extended time before I can return. In my heart I know that I need to extend my stay here to advocate for him.

The expenses are already adding up and that’s why I’m asking for your help to cover medical expenses, travel, food, lodging and veterinary care for his pup before she comes home to my fur babies. Anything helps and is deeply appreciated. Thank you to everyone who has reached out and helped me get to his bedside. ❤️
