Looking for help with my medical bills

Hi, my name is Sarah, and I'm a 31 year old in a 90 year olds body; or that's what it feels like! I'm fundraising for medical appointments/bills. I have suffered from back pain for a long time, and the last few years, it has gotten worse. I ended up in the hospital in September 2022 because I wasn't able to move or do anything without being in extreme pain. I have degenerative disk disease (DDD) and spinal stenosis in my lower back, and my L4 and L5 discs are protruding, which causes me pain almost all the time. I wasn't approved for LTD through my insurance and I now need to go on EI sick benifits while I file for an appeal. Unfortunately, with the number of doctors' appointments, no benifits and going on EI, can't afford them on my own.

I want to try everything possible and find what works for my back. I've tried a lot already, but I haven't found anything that works for more than a few hours yet. I plan to use the money for my appointments and find something that works and helps.

When I was able to work, I was an educational assistant. I really want to be able to go back to work; I miss my students and friends so much, but unfortunately, I'm not well enough to go back yet. I find it really hard to ask for help but I feel I don't have any other choice.

This is a breakdown of what your donations would go towards

I also don't drive so I take the city bus if possible or Ubers to my appointments if not. The bus is $80/month and Ubers are $12-26/ride.
