My name is Steve and I need your help! I am raising money for my brother’s funeral and his wife’s medical expenses. My brother John was killed on his motorcycle driving 35 mph on September 9th 2022 when a car crossed over into his lane and hit him head on killing him instantly. His wife was on the back and will be in the hospital for months recovering and she is doing her best to stay strong and recover. She had her spine separated from her pelvis but miraculously is not paralyzed. The surgeries to reattach where extensive. On top of that she had two collapsed lungs and a tear on an aorta, both legs broken and shattered ankle. She originally woke up in the hospital with a concussion that prevented her from remembering much. She had to be intubated and could not speak for 9 days.

The medical bills will be large because even though they have/had insurance through his job it won’t last and the plan is not the best. She has been in two weeks and getting hit with some large bills, the first close to the amount we are trying to raise here, from the difference not covered by insurance. They have 4 children between the age of 14 and 23 and I just want to be sure we can help them with medical expenses, food, utilities, etc.
