Final Expenses for Tamara Williams (258)

My name is Amani Laws and together with Danielle Jaudon, I am writing to gather support for our sister Tamara Williams who passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 11, 2023 of breast cancer. This was 10 days after her oldest son’s 23rd birthday. Tamara was a beautiful and kind soul who loved to laugh, dance, and spend time with her family and friends. Although she wasn’t my blood sister, blood couldn’t make us any tighter.

Tamara was the oldest of five siblings and left behind three children including her teenage daughter and youngest son who is a special needs child. Her parents and extended family are still in shock that she is gone. She was well loved by her family.

I first met Tamara in 1995 when we were both freshmen at Central High School in Philadelphia, PA (Class of 258/1999). I don’t recall our first interaction but from the moment we became friends, we’ve been that way ever since. Central is and will always be a special place. Friendships and bonds were created between people that are still rock solid to this day. Most recently, a group of us including Tamara, attended our 20th High School reunion in 2019. It was an amazing night and we all had the best time catching up with each other.

Tamara knew how to enjoy life and make people laugh. She was always telling jokes or creating the latest dance moves. She loved all types of music and taking pictures. She was known best for her organized photo books that held the best memories of her family and friends. She was an amazing mother and friend who would support you in whatever way she could.

Please support us in whatever way you can. The funds will go to her family to assist with funeral arrangements and provide for her three children.
