Dear Friends and Community, On February 7th, a heart-wrenching event occurred that has deeply affected a family in the community. Todd, a Chandler resident, experienced a severe medical issue that led to a tragic single-vehicle accident, causing him to veer off the road and into a lake. Despite the valiant efforts of many bystanders, including a courageous 16-year-old who swam out to assist, Todd remained unresponsive and was urgently taken to the hospital by first responders. Since that day, Todd has been fighting for his life in the hospital, but recent developments have brought us devastating news. Doctors have diagnosed Todd with a severe diffuse axonal brain injury, leaving him unresponsive and dependent on life support, with no possibility of recovery. Todd Buckner peacefully passed away 2.22 surrounded by his family. During this unimaginably difficult time, Todd's family faces not only emotional turmoil but also the burden of unexpected travel, medical, and end-of-life expenses.
