Help for Dotties humans

Hi, My name is Kylie. I’m making this go fund me today to help cover the costs of a vet bill for my Sister in law and nephews. This morning my 11 year old nephew found Dottie on their front porch with a bullet wound in her chest. From what we can see Dottie was shot in her own yard. She did not immediately pass away from her injuries but suffered in the car ride to the emergency vet 30 minutes away. They did all they could to save her but unfortunately the wound in her chest was just to traumatic for her tiny body and she took her last breaths surrounded by the people who loved her the most.

Dottie was just over one year old, beautiful little German shorthair pointer. Naturally timid by nature but a true companion to her people. This family has had a heck of a last year with many things happening and Dottie has been a constant in their life and a therapy dog for not only her mama Lindsay but to Lindsay’s two sons 11, & 18. Lindsay works to make ends meet but as you can imagine a 1,000 vet bill is a lot for just about anyone in the economy.

Dottie will be greatly missed and mourned over for many years to come. A good dog only comes once in a lifetime they say. It’s especially hard when a life is taken but such a careless evil act. Dottie loved the lake, she loved her ball, but mostly she loved her people. If you can donate, anything is greatly appreciated.
