Help Pay Felix Bannister's Emergency Bills

Hi, my name is Eli Zatz and I'm one of Felix Bannister's close friends from highschool. On April 4th, Felix had a motorcycle accident in Thailand and was taken by speedboat to the nearest sizable hospital and admitted to the ICU. He fractured his skull and received a traumatic brain injury and will be in a process of slow recovery. Unfortunately, Felix's insurance won't cover the costs, and it looks that it will be upwards of $50,000. In the past 3 days alone, it has cost $8,000 for his family. He has the support of two of his friends, Beck and Izaak. They have been incredibly helpful and supportive, making sure his family and friends who are still in the States stay updated.

Felix is one of the best people I know. He's completely selfless and incredibly genuine. He had been working hard for this trip to Thailand for a long time, and was supposed to be there for nearly two months. He'd been climbing and was just about to receive his dive master. He was stoked on life and was looking forward to what was to come. Now, Felix is in a pretty bad state and has spent the past two days in the intensive care unit on Koh Samui and will remain there until April 10th.

As his community, I would love for us to help support him at this time. I know that he would give anything he could to support one of his friends if they had a similar accident. I love him like a brother and I hope that he will recover and get back to climbing and doing everything he loves soon.
