Karla’s Radiation expenses

My name is Karla Grijalva. In March 1st 2019 I was diagnosed with multinodular goitter with papillary  thyroid cancer, April 9th I was operated on for thyroidectomy, at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. A month later I needed radiation to kill the cancer cells since in the right nodule the pathology thrown as a type of Tall cell Variant papillary Carcinoma thyroid cancer recurrent aggressive . which have taken the determination to have radiation at Stonybrook  Hospital on July 8th that will be for 5 consecutive days. I will need to pay the injections and hotel accommodation since I can not have contact with anyone during those days. They explained to me that each injection of Thyrogen costs aprox $5,000  and it will be two injections that I will receive before starting the radiation treatment. Any amount you can help me with will be very appreciated. I hope you can help me reach this goal to be able to pay the expenses during this treatment. Thank you so much. God bless you ❤️



El 1ero de Marzo fui diagnosticada con multinodular goitter con papilar carcinoma cancer, en Abril 9 fui operada de tiroidoctomia, despues de un mes necesito radiacion para matar las celulas cancerigenas ya que en el nodulo derecho la patologia arrojo como un tipo de Células altas variantes carcinoma papilar cancer de tiroides recurrente agresivo por lo cual han tomado la determinacion de tener radiacion en stonybrook hospital el 8 de julio que sera por 5 días consecutivos por lo cual necesitare pagar  las inyecciones y  por un alojamiento ya que no podre  tener contacto con nadie durante esos días. Me explicaron que cada inyeccion de Thyrogen cuesta alrededor de $5,000 dolares y seran dos inyecciones que recibire antes de empezar el tratamiento de radiación . Espero de todo corazón que me puedan ayudar a alcanzar la meta para poder pagar los gastos durante este tratamiento. Dios los bendiga ❤️
