August 2, 2018 Paxton Sanders passed away due to an aneurysm. The family is devastated. There are no words that we can say to comfort them. Friends of the family are hurting, even if they did not know Paxton personally. It's hard to watch your friends suffer and mourn knowing you cannot take away their pain. Only time will lessen their wounds, but even then we know they will always hurt for the loved one they've lost.
Paxton was 17 years old. He was headed into his senior year of high school. He loved hunting and fishing, but mostly he loved his family and friends. Everyone who speaks of him describes him as special, kind, loved and loving, outgoing and a strong Christian who wasn't afraid to share his faith with others. He had an old blue truck that he also loved and his father said to me "I just keep waiting for him to drive up in that truck". It's hard to sum up a life in a few sentences, but the impact Paxton's death has had on so many people is a true testament to the life he lived.
The family has requested that donations be made to this campaign in lieu of flowers. There are funeral expenses and medical expenses that the family can use our help with. Hopefully our help will lessen their financial worries and allow them to spend this time comforting each other and beginning to heal. Any help is truly appreciated and all prayers are welcome.
