Hi All!
As you most likely already know, with a heavy heart, we closed both of our stores on March 16th. With an abundance of caution, we decided to do this based on the recommendation of our local Government to do so. We feel it was the right decision for the Safety of our Customers, Staff, their Families and the Community at large.
Our Sales & Support team of 18 is really the BEST ever in our opinion. In terms of skills, knowledge, education and pure fun just to hang out with… bar none. They have always gone above and beyond to make our two stores a success. And we thank them for that each and every day.
Our clientele and followers are also the BEST ever! As we have always said, opening the original Portland store really reaffirmed our faith in humanity. What an amazing experience we have had over the years watching our customer base grow as well as grow up. We have also learned a tremendous amount from this community from product knowledge to just super amazing stories.
That said, having closed our stores, we unfortunately have had to temporarily furlough most of our amazing crew. And as with many of us, that brings a potential financial whirlwind as they look to navigate unemployment and alternative ways to stabilize their lives during this unknown time frame. Once we have weathered the storm, the plan is to bring back the entire crew which we look forward to doing. Hence the Gofundme campaign we are launching today to bridge the gap.
The goal of this campaign is to help stabilize our team’s lives during this difficult, unprecedented time. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the team. Any donation towards this cause would be greatly appreciated and will be administered by Susan and myself in tandem with our Bookkeeper, Phaedra.
