Paws of Love Fundraiser for APS
I’m David Brittain, AIPP Master Photographer and owner of Paws of Love Pet Photography .
Every year at Paws of Love Pet Photography we produce a Paws of Love Charity Calendar to raise much needed funds for charities that support animal welfare. This year we are proud to have partnered with Animal Protection Society of Western Australia.
The calendar is now in production on will go on sale in November.
Its been such a tough year not just for us humans, but for our furry friends as well. Most of the pounds and rescues are full, including the Animal Protection Society. We also now have a fabulous Dogtober Fundraiser to give our furry friends a helping hand.
How does it work?
Dogtober Studio Portrait Sessions
Our studio sessions are around 1 hour and you are welcome to have photos of yourself and other family included with your pet too!
Instead of paying our usual sitting fee of $250, we request that you make a donation of $50 to The Animal Protection Society Go Fund Me page to secure your session.
One to two weeks after your portrait session will be your viewing session, where we present your fabulous photographs. This is your opportunity to choose your free mounted print. You may also purchase images for yourself, however there is no pressure to do so.
Who is the Animal Protection Society of WA?
The Animal Protection Society of Western Australia save, rehabilitate and rehome cats and dogs to new loving homes, along with educating the public on microchipping and sterilisation to avoid more unwanted animals needing homes. All animals that come into their care are vet checked, microchipped, vaccinated and sterilized. In order to meet ongoing costs of maintaining the refuge and its animals the Society constantly endeavours to raise funds with various fundraising activities, memberships sponsorships and promotions. This ensures all animals in care are feed, vet checked, cages cleaned and vet costs can be paid.
