Pawsitive Communities Vet Trailer

Donation protected
Pawsitive Communities Mobile Vet Clinic is a non profit program ran through the Brandon Humane Society in Brandon Manitoba and operates in the surrounding areas. Our program offers a mobile veterinary unit that will be used to spay & neuter dogs to help control the pet population. We will also vaccinate dogs to improve animal behaviour and health. Overpopulation and lack of care for animals is a major issue across the country but many First Nations communities have the extra obstacle of no access to a veterinary clinic. This can make caring for animals very expensive because of travel costs. Lack of vet care can lead to unwanted, neglected, sick, starving, abused, and potentially dangerous animals in the community. These communities have limited access to dog pounds and humane society's to take in unwanted animals and our program works with the communities to reduce the number of unwanted animals. We are aiming to educate the communities on the importance of our missions and our unit is available for community gatherings and school visits. The trailer has been ordered thanks to a generous loan but we need help paying it off and having funds to operate and your donation would go a long way for these voiceless animals. We can be reached by email at [email redacted] the Brandon Humane Society is located at 2200 17th Street East Brandon, MB R7A 7M6
