Help Build a Community Pet Pantry
Hi! My name is Jaylyn. I am a 17-year-old high school student, and I am partnering with the Northshore Humane Society to create something to make life easier for pets and the people who love them! Not only that, but to build a place for the many donations the Humane Society receives daily!
I’m raising $1,000–$1,500 to build a weatherproof outdoor Pet Pantry where anyone can take (or leave) pet supplies for free. Anyone in need can stop by to grab dog or cat food, treats, leashes, or small essentials — no questions asked.
Why This Matters
With rising costs, many families are struggling to feed their pets. Even a small gift — a bag of food or a leash — can help keep a beloved pet at home and out of the shelter.
This pantry’s goal is to:
• Help reduce surrenders due to financial hardship
• Support local pet parents in crisis
• Spread kindness through community care
• Make space for the donations at the Humane Society
As a young person who cares deeply about animals, this is my way of giving back.
What Your Donation Supports
Every dollar will go toward:
• High-quality wood, plexiglass, and roofing
• Durable outdoor hardware and sealants
• Paint and signage to make it visible and friendly
• A secure mounting system
• Starter supplies like food, bowls, or collars
Goal: $1,000-$1,500
If we raise more, the extra funds will go toward keeping the pantry stocked or straight to the Humane Society!
How You Can Help
• Donate any amount — even $5 makes a difference!
• Share this page with friends, pet lovers, or local businesses
• Donate supplies! (Building supplies or donations to fill the pantry)
Thank you for supporting this project and helping keep tails wagging in our community!
