Paws for My Birthday – Support SoCo Rescue!

Another spin around the sun! One thing birthdays and homeless dogs have in common: they keep coming. Again for my birthday this year, I am inviting you to help me save a life. I have been volunteering for more than 7 years, and Joe and I have fostered more than 70 dogs. Nothing makes us happier than to see them come back to life, find loving homes, and in turn, bring joy into the world. We are thankful to friends and family like you who have helped us help them!

This year, the funds raised will go directly to SoCo for medical bills. The little black and white pup pictured, Charli, has a rare, life-threatening liver condition (Hepatic Encephalopathy) and will need surgery. Unfortunately, her sibling Ciara may need treatment as well.

Routine vet bills also continue to be a challenge. I saw a statement recently and was surprised at the cost of that with vaccines, preventatives, spay/neuter. I feel committed to giving ever dog a chance at a new life and medical care is a critical link in the chain.
