Paws & Tails Needs Your Help!
In this recent week alone, our shelter was busy rescuing 100+ kittens from multiple litters and transporting a handful of our rescues who needed urgent medical care to the animal hospital.
The cats who needed medical attention such as Cosmo (left) and Moonbeam (right) seen in the picture above were due to be euthanized until we took them in.
Cosmo is 7 years old and was due to be euthanized as his previous owners could not afford the procedures for his severely blocked urinary system.
Moonbeam is only 2 years young and she was surrendered in poor health from a breeder. When we met her earlier this week, her eyes were already severely infected and protruded from their sockets.
She underwent an emergency surgery so that the infection would not spread. Unfortunately, her sight was completely affected by the infection, and although we were able to stop the progression of it, Moonbeam will no longer be able to see.
Right now, these two are recovering, receiving medication and waiting for their forever family.
Cosmo and Moonbeam are only 2 out of the handful of rescues that needed urgent medical attention this week.
The procedures, medicine, spaying/neutering for the kittens, and vet visits cost our shelter nearly $15,000.
We are kindly asking for any assistance you may be able to give.
If you can't donate at this time, simply sharing the link to our fundraiser with your friends and family will greatly help us!
