From Shelter to Summit – Nalla’s Journey of Hope

This year, our two dogs – Crumpet and Nalla – are taking on a big challenge: walking up Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales. But this isn’t just a walk… it’s a walk with purpose.

Nalla’s story began in a very different place. She was one of the 700 dogs crammed into the public shelter in Botosani, Romania – a harsh, overcrowded environment where every day is a struggle to survive. She knew nothing of kindness, comfort, or love.

But thanks to Safe Rescue for Dogs, Nalla was given a chance. She made the long journey from Romania to the UK, and into our life, where she’s blossomed into the most loving, gentle soul. Every wag of her tail reminds us of how far she has come.

Sadly, so many dogs are still waiting in that shelter – waiting for food, for warmth, for safety, and for someone to notice them.

That’s why Nalla and her loyal adopted friend Crumpet are climbing Snowdon. Every step they take is for the dogs left behind. Every paw-print on the mountain is a symbol of hope.

Our Mission: To raise funds for Safe Rescue for Dogs so they can continue saving lives, offering medical care, and finding families for the forgotten dogs of Botosani.
