Imagine a place where every wagging tail, gentle purr, and hopeful gaze tells a story of second chances. This is the vision of Pause Animal Wellness Sanctuary (PAWS), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Colorado, dedicated to rescuing animals who might otherwise face uncertain futures.

PAWS isn’t just a sanctuary for animals; it’s a space for healing and connection for humans, too. Here, people can learn to open their hearts through meditation, heart-centered practices, and meaningful interactions with the animals.

Though we are still in the early stages of our journey, our commitment is unwavering. We are laying the foundation for a sanctuary where dogs, cats, and eventually horses, cows, and other species can thrive, and where humans can come to heal, grow, and connect in heart-centered ways.
