Help Us Give Savanna More Independence, Safety & Hope
As Savanna’s family, asking for help isn’t always easy. But when it comes to giving her every opportunity to live a safer, fuller and more independent life, we will do whatever we can.
For the past three years, Savanna’s life has looked very different from that of most kids her age. Because of her seizures, she has been unable to attend school and is currently being homeschooled.
While homeschooling allows her to continue her education, she has missed so much more than being in a classroom. She has missed school activities, time with friends, meeting new people and many of the everyday experiences that help a young person grow, connect and find their independence.
As her family, it is heartbreaking to see how much epilepsy has taken away from her.
Savanna continues to face uncertainty in her medical journey. Surgery for an implant is pending while her medical team works to stabilize her seizures and manage her medications. We continue to hope and pray for progress.
In the meantime, we have another important goal: getting Savanna a specially trained medical service dog.
For Savanna, this isn't simply about getting a dog. It's about giving her another layer of safety, support, confidence and independence. It's about helping her feel more comfortable stepping back into the world, participating in activities, building friendships and experiencing more of the life she deserves.
And we need your help to make that possible.
Every donation, no matter the amount, brings us one step closer. If you aren't able to donate, sharing Savanna's story with your family and friends can make just as much of a difference.
Our greatest wish is to see Savanna regain some of the freedom that epilepsy has taken from her—to see her feel safe, make friends, experience new things and have the confidence to enjoy being young again.
We can't give her back the last three years. But together, we can help make the years ahead a little brighter.
From our entire family, thank you for every donation, every share, every prayer and every person who shows up for Savanna.
It means more to our family than words can express. ❤️
